Dr. Hauser began his service for the Lord in 1959 in Buffalo, New York, teaching at Buffalo Bible Institute. In 1962 he went to San Francisco Baptist Seminary where he taught until 1972, when he was directed to Denver Baptist Bible College and Seminary, and became a seminary professor and Academic Vice President of the schools. He joined Central Seminary in 1986 as registrar, became dean in 1988, and directed the Romanian branch campus of the school.
In 2006 Dr. Hauser retired from the position of dean and was granted the ceremonial office of Dean Emeritus and an honorary D.Hum. degree for his numerous contributions to fundamentalism. During his years of ministry he has been involved in new church work, assisted senior pastors, and served as a deacon. He was the interim preacher at Fourth Baptist Church in 1987-88. He has held conferences throughout the United States and been the speaker at various college campuses. He lives in Louisville, Kentucky and enjoys classical music, reading, and sports.
