L. Mark Bruffey was born in West Palm Beach and reared in the Blue Ridge mountains of Virginia, where he came to know the Lord. He served for four years as assistant librarian for Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary. Mr. Bruffey and his wife, Melody, have two children, Matthew and Marissa. Mr. Bruffey's hobbies include fingerstyle guitar and fishing.
